What is FMGE?
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is conducted by NBE (National Board of Examinations) for graduates of foreign medical universities who wish to practice in India.
• **Format**: 300 MCQs
• **Subjects**: All 19 subjects of MBBS
• **Passing score**: 150/300 (50%)
• **Conducted**: Twice a year (June & December)
What is NExT?
The National Exit Test (NExT) is a proposed exam that will replace both FMGE and the final-year university exam.
• Will be mandatory for all medical graduates (Indian and foreign)
• Will serve as a licensing exam and PG entrance exam
• Expected to be implemented soon

Pass Rates
